Artomation Demonstrates Paint Robot Control

Using PanelPro® Software Interface

Cleveland, OH:  Artomation Corporation, the leading supplier of advanced panel painting machines for the paint and coatings industry announced that it has successfully implemented a control package for industry standard paint robots.

The combination allows Artomation’s customer to control painting with standard 6-axis robot using the more operator friendly, powerful software package designed by Artomation for it’s own line of PanelPro machines.

“One of our existing PanelPro customers wanted to continue to use our software interface even though the application required a Fanuc robot” explains Artomation President, John McDonough. “We developed a handshake between the robot controller and our E-casso® software package that allows them to implement all of the powerful control features of PanelPro on a standard robot”.

E-casso provides complete on-the-fly control over a wide range of paint application variables that enable painters to achieve greater uniformity and repeatability.
